Sales – Manufacturers Representative

Logistics – Dispatcher
Full-time
- People oriented, good communicator, multitasking skills, problem solver, organized
- Valid G license with a good insurance record
- Handle sales/shipping documentation for inbound & outbound material orders in an organized manner
- Work with our Shipping and Receiving Team to have materials prepped on time to meet the shipping schedule
- Schedule the daily maneuvers of our in-house Truck Drivers to meet customer/company obligations
- Schedule freight pick ups with outside carriers for delivery by their forces
- Maintain a shipping/receiving log book for future reference
- Assist and guide the local delivery team when problems arise at a delivery location or a mechanical problem while enroute
- Schedule the regular maintenance for the Brown’s fleet of vehicles
- Review time sheets for Truck Drivers
- Ensure that drivers logs are operational and meet the requirements of the Ministry
- Complete a Monthly report to be included in our Monthly Operations Report to the shareholders
- Complete training and become an expert with our electronic log provider
- Obtain freight rates on an annual basis and present viable options to Management
- Create a maintenance program for our fleet to ensure our vehicles are maintained in good working order
- Build a relationship with our repair shops for immediate service in the event that an emergency repair is necessary
- Spot check outbound loads periodically to ensure accuracy of shipment
- Always work within the Brown’s Health & Safety Program and the Occupational Health & Safety Act
